Digital World Clocks - Internet Day

At top of the World Clocks, press Launch the Meeting Planners, and a new web page will be open with the meeting hours for these cities, in three colours:
Green: Normal meeting hours
Orange: Outside normal meeting hours
Red: Sleeping time

Now you can check the Meeting Planner to know when to call another person without disturb it.

World Telecommunication Day has been celebrated annually on 17 May since 1969, marking the founding of ITU - International Telecommunication Union and the signing of the first International Telegraph Convention in 1865.

The theme of this year’s WTISD is Protecting Children in Cyberspace aims at ensuring that children can safely access the Internet and its valuable resources without fear of falling prey to unscrupulous predators in cyberspace.

According to recent surveys, over 60 per cent of children and teenagers talk in chat rooms on a daily basis. Three in four children online are willing to share personal information about themselves and their family in exchange for goods and services. And one in five children will be targeted by a predator or paedophile each year.
