NASA TV - Shuttle Atlantis goes to Hubble Telescope

Shuttle Launch Successful. After months of delays, yesterday seven astronauts blasted off to repair and improve the Hubble Space Telescope aboard NASA's space shuttle Atlantis.

During the 11-day mission's five spacewalks, astronauts will install two new instruments, repair two inactive ones and perform the component replacements that will keep the telescope functioning into at least 2014.
